Established in May 2011, As-Suffah Education was founded with the vision of providing a structured, engaging, and high-quality Islamic education for young Muslims aged 5–16 years. Our programme combines the richness of traditional Islamic teaching with modern educational approaches, enabling students to develop a strong foundation in Qur’anic studies, Islamic knowledge, and exemplary character.
We are committed to nurturing each student’s spiritual, moral, and personal development in a caring and inspiring learning environment, helping them grow into confident, practising Muslims.

Our Curriculum
All of our centres follow the same carefully planned curriculum, ensuring consistency, excellence, and high educational standards across the programme.
Our curriculum is structured into eight progressive grade levels, providing students with a clear pathway from learning the Arabic alphabet to advanced Islamic studies.
Grades 1–3
Students establish a strong foundation by completing the first two Qaidah books before progressing through the First Juzz of the Holy Qur’an. Alongside Qur’anic studies, students learn essential Islamic beliefs, acts of worship, daily supplications, manners, and good character.
Grades 4–6
Students focus on developing fluency and confidence in Qur’anic recitation, with the goal of completing the entire Qur’an twice while strengthening their Tajweed, pronunciation, and developing a good understanding of Islamic Studies.
Grades 7–8
Students undertake a comprehensive two-year Advanced Islamic Studies programme, studying subjects such as Aqeedah (Islamic Creed), Fiqh (Jurisprudence), Hadith, Seerah, Akhlaaq (Character), Tafseer, and contemporary issues affecting Muslims today. This stage equips students with the knowledge and understanding needed for lifelong learning and practice.
Hifz-ul-Qur’an
As-Suffah Education also offers a dedicated Hifz-ul-Qur’an Programme for students aged 10 years and above. Our Hifz students benefit from a balanced curriculum that combines Qur’an memorisation with weekly Islamic Studies lessons, ensuring they continue to develop academically, spiritually, and personally throughout their memorisation journey.
Religious & Social Education (RSE)
Throughout the academic year, students also participate in our Religious & Social Education (RSE) programme. Primarily delivered to Grades 6–8, these carefully planned modules address contemporary issues and sensitive topics from an Islamic perspective.
Lessons are designed to strengthen students’ Islamic identity while developing confidence, resilience, critical thinking, digital awareness, healthy relationships, and the practical life skills needed to navigate the challenges of modern society with faith and integrity.
Our People
Today, As-Suffah Education serves over 800 students across its five centres and is supported by a dedicated team of more than 35 teachers, staff members, and volunteers.
The programme is led by experienced subject leaders for Islamic Studies, Qaida, and Namaaz & Du’a, working alongside the Head of Education. Together, they continually review and enhance the curriculum, teaching resources, and assessment systems to ensure that every student receives a high-quality Islamic education that is both authentic and relevant to the needs of today’s generation.
